More than 4,100 Baltimore Gas and Electric employees, contractors and out-of- state linemen are positioned to restore power as soon as it is safe to begin work, BGE says.
BGE is based in Baltimore and delivers power to more than 1.2 million customers in central Maryland. The company has about 3,400 employees, and brought in extra crew from states, including Florida, Georgia, Illinois and Texas to help during the storm.
